My Health Trainer is a unique tool based on 70+ years of experience of providing scientifically proven, evidence based health improvement services to over 100,000 people across the UK on behalf of the public, private and third sectors including the NHS and Public Health. Its an entire Wellness Ecosystem designed to improve your health and wellbeing for life.

By downloading the app and registering your account, you will be able to undertake an assessment of your overall health status. Well ask you about your current lifestyle habits and take some measurements so that we can offer a complete range of structured support programmes for you to work through in your own time. Well assess your motivation and take the time to understand what it is you want to achieve and why.

You will be able to tackle the four main risk factors associated with poor health - healthy eating / weight management, stopping smoking, drinking less alcohol and becoming more physically active. There are no fad diets, meal plans or detox cleanses. We dont offer anything that isnt scientifically proven to work.

All of the advice we provide is in line with the clinical guidance offered by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT).

For each risk factor, well devise a 12 week plan for you to work through. Well agree and set a series of SMART goals, unique to you, that are designed to support you in reaching your objectives. Over each 12 week plan, well monitor your progress on a daily basis. Well keep you motivated with gentle prompts to help keep you focused. If you have a bad day or arent able to stick to your programme, well guide you back on track. If you have one, well ask to link to your fitness wearable (like a FitBit or AppleWatch) so that we can offer further insight into your progress.

All of our guidance is provided in a holistic and non-judgemental way. Think of us as the informed friend who just wants to see you grow happier and healthier. We wont tell you off for not sticking to a goal, but we will help you to see why its important to take charge of your health.

Every week, youll gain access to information, guidance and support that is designed to educate and inform your knowledge of how and why you can improve your health.

Unlike other health and wellbeing apps, we wont set you generic targets or tell you to eat restrictive meal plans. Instead, we will teach you the principles behind reaching and maintaining a healthy lifestyle so that you understand how you can change your current habits, rather than trying to force new ones.

Learning how to become healthier should be like learning how to ride a bike. Once youve got the hang of it, you shouldnt need to learn it all again in the future. We want you to use My Health Trainer to learn how your current habits and environment affect your health so that you can change them.

As well as tackling the four main risk factors, we will also provide you with guidance and advice on how you can improve other aspects of your health and wellbeing, including mindfulness, dental and oral health, finances, sexual health, falls prevention, sleep, home safety and dementia.

Following the guidance provided by My Health Trainer could help you to significantly reduce the risk of developing a long term health condition in the future. It could also help you to improve your overall wellbeing, mood and relationships with the people around you. It could give you more confidence and inspire you to try new things.

Weve helped tens of thousands of people to make life changing decisions. Are you going to be the next success story? The app is free to download. You have nothing to lose.

You can integrate Apple Health. When integrated, My Health Trainer will use your Apple Health data, e.g. no. of steps completed to help monitor your progress within the wellbeing programmes.
